There's also new color tuning technology which allows for individual color adjustments without altering the white balance, and gamma adjustments for over 4,000 adjustable shades of gray.NEC's new displays can be configured in either a 2 x 2 or a 3 x 3 matrix without an external processor. The units come equipped with 9 watts x 2 stereo audio (8 watts x 2 for the 42XM2) and a programmable timer.The 42XM2, 50XM3 and 61XM2 run at a rated 22 dB ambient fan noise.NEC's PlasmaSync 42XM2 is now shipping with a manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $6,495. The PlasmaSync 50XM3 and the PlasmaSync 61XM2 are also shipping with MSRPs of $9,995 and $19,995, respectively.
