The binding posts on your new speakers may not accommodate the spades on your existing speaker cables, leaving you with no choice but to swap out your speaker cables, or re-terminate them. DH Labs has solved this frustrating problem with their new, one size fits all SP-10 & SP-14 Angled Step Spades. These new spades are wider at the mouth, but taper inward to accommodate wide and standard binding posts. The barrel of the spades are also angled at 30 degrees for easy connection to an amplifier or receiver. As with all of their speaker cable terminations, the SP-10 & SP-14 Angled Step Spades are manufactured from pure copper and are gold-plated. They are available individually in 10-12 AWG (SP-10) and 14-16 AWG (SP-14) sizes and are standard on DH Labs speaker cables.
