V Inc. Announces Aggressive Vizio Display Line Up For 2004

V Inc., marks its first anniversary with additions to the Vizio product line. V Inc. announces two new plasma TVs and an additional LCD TV to its line of Vizio flat-panel displays. The Vizio plasma line additions include both a 50-inch HDTV and a 42-inch EDTV. The Vizio P50HD has a native resolution of 1366 x 768 and accepts ATSC sources on analog component video or RGBHV on VGA and DVI video inputs. Interface with USB and RS232 is also supported. The Vizio P50HD will ship in April and will have a suggested retail price of $4,999.99. The Vizio P42 is an enhanced contrast EDTV (852 x 480) with component, DVI, and RGB inputs for high-definition and PC sources. A VGA output along with USB and RS232 interfaces add functionality. The Vizio P42 will ship in March with a suggested retail price of $2,999.99. All V Inc. Vizio plasma TVs come with in a titanium/silver finish, built-in NTSC TV and cable tuner, PIP, POP, 3:2 pull down deinterlacing, tabletop stand, and standard remote control. Wall mounts and flush-mounting speakers are optional. The Vizio P4 46-inch EDTV remains in the line, but at a reduced suggested retail price of $3,499.99. The Vizio LCD TV line now includes the 13-inch standard 1.33:1 aspect ratio Vizio L13. The popular Vizio L6 20-inch LCD TV continues in the line. The L13 LCD TV is being called the ìKitchen TVî because of its under-shelf mounting design and the easy-to-clean titanium and white finish. NTSC video inputs include RF antenna, component, composite, and S-video inputs. It will ship in March with built-in NTSC TV and cable tuner, stand, standard remote control, and a suggested retail price of $399.99.
