Samsung Electronics Announces New Pricing For Entire DLP TV Line

Now Starting at $3,199, Owning A DLP TV Has Never Been More Affordable

Samsung Electronics announced that it is making its award-winning, seven-model assortment of DLP TVs more affordable than ever to own. Beginning this week, consumers can take advantage of TVs that deliver the clearest, sharpest, brightest, most accurate images from a table top TV at significant cost savings. Samsung's DLP line, which features models ranging from 43- to 61-inches in size, will be available at prices starting at $3,199.99, a $500 reduction across the board. ìIt is a very exciting time for consumers who are thinking of buying into the world of HDTV,î said Jim Sanduski, Vice President of Marketing for Samsung's Visual Display Group ìSamsung's DLP offerings redefined the television market with a new generation of digital TV that offered high-definition performance and the highest quality video processing for any video format in a compact and light form factor. We now look forward to being at the forefront of the industry once again, bringing many consumers a new opportunity to view high performance television at a much more affordable price point.î Samsung's line of DLPs combines the ultimate in image quality and stylish design. The 43-inch HLN4365W and the 50-inch HLN5065W will now have an MSRP of $3,199 and $3,699 respectively. Both models offer multiple widescreen format inputs, DVD progressive scan input, 15 pin D-sub computer input, 2-3 pull-down and DVI digital interface for a true digital connection. Samsung's other current models include the 43-inch HLN437W (new MSRP of $3,699), the 50-inch HLN507W (new MSRP of $3,699) and the 61-inch HLN617W (new MSRP of $4,699). All models include Faroudja's patented auto-sensing 2-3 pull down system, and Samsung's proprietary DNIe (Digital Natural Image engine) for enhanced contrast, detail, and color, and noise reduction in a compact, ultra-light, and thin-bezel cabinet to fit almost anywhere.
