11-Mar-04

First Impressions Theme Theatres, Miami, Florida-based private theatre architects, designers and builders will premier several new CineLoungers at this yearís EH Expo, held in Orlando, Florida. The company will introduce its CineChaiseLounger, a single or ìdouble wideî day-bed style theatre luxury seat based on its CineLounger Classic detailing. The company will make chaises for any style lounger presently in the line and will custom adapt personalized detailing per the clientís request. The product was developed for clients who wish to fully lay out during a movie presentation, on the first row or for the kids to curl up with Mom and Dad during a show. New this year, First Impressions presents its motorized pop-up headrest recliner based on the CineLounger Original and CineLounger Extreme body styles. With the flip of a switch, the hidden headrest appears from the seat back and will stop in any desired position for proper head support. Seat cushions, which run from 19-inches to 24-inches, can be custom modified with many infill compositions per the clientís mandates. With its super structure entirely built on a CNC machine, the new ìprice-sensitiveî CineLounger Classic Ltd., with tailoring and amenities from the firmís flagship CineLounger Classic will be unveiled this year at EH Expo. Starting at a dealer cost of $499, the CineLounger Classic Ltd. is available in all ìMovie-Houseî Velvets, in two styles, two backs, and three colors of molded and block-style drink holders. A motorization feature can be added for a dealer cost of $125 per chair. Available as two arm chairs, loveseats, and sofas the CCL can be ordered and delivery is 2-3 weeks. More accessories for CineLoungers are being shown at this yearís EH Expo to include the ìJewelî Collection of acrylic drink holders in beautiful semi-precious stone colors, finishes and textures. With an optional illumination feature these products glow like Lalique or fine crystal. Coordinating swivel snack trays with an attached pivot are now available in any CineLounger and store in a special compartment in the arm when not in use. To answer the needs of many dealer-installers for limited footprint spacing on theatre recliners from row-to-row, First Impressions will show its ìCinePushbackî a lounger to allow homeowners to recline slightly without the footrest extending. Said First Impressionsí President Jeffrey Smith, C.A.S., ìThe mechanism acts exactly like a luxury airline seat where the back tilts at will and the footrest is fixed.î The company will also introduce its modified CineProLounger Ltd, the smallest CineLounger built now as a rocker only to compete in size and price with commercial theatre seating yet in a much more plush offering. If you canít make up your mind between a Rocker and a Recliner, First Impressions now has its newly restyled CineRocker-Reclinerô, a dual application mechanism allowing a radical full recline and glider rocker both in the same chair. Added Smith, ìThis could be our ìgo-toî mechanism and premium offering as it really answers all client needs with the only combo theatre incliner-recliner and rocker available.î First Impressions will also showcase a new lumbar posture feature with its CineContourLounger, a power driven adjustable lower back support model that expands and contracts with the push of a button. This multi-position option is available in most CineLoungers and aids in unlimited ergonomic adjustments for viewers total comfort during a movie presentation. Add a powerful full body heat and massage option and your lower back, buttocks and even legs get a stimulating workout while you enjoy a flick. First Impressionsí best selling theatre chair, its patented CineLounger Classic now goes pillow soft with newly restyled seat back and arms aptly coined the Classic Pillow Top CineLounger. Soft over arm down filled caps allow added comfort for viewersí elbows while seats and back are down filled cushioning for a pillow soft relaxed seatability. The firm will also unveil a first, its truly one-of-a-kind curved, full motion sightline sensitive recliner based or CineSofa grouping. All three seats (could be more) recline and footrests extend. No other theatre recliner, or conventional motion-seating grouping, in the market functions like this. All CineSofas are built on a specific radius to direct each viewerís eyes to the center of the video screen. First Impressions is still the only manufacturer in the marketplace who builds each theatre lounger order with this multi unit, all recliner feature. First Impressions offers a complete line of incliners, recliners, rockers, recliner-rockers, CineLoveseats and CineSofas, all built to order per specifications in the companyís expanded 20,000 square foot upholstery plant. The most popular model comes with five (5) standard arm and back shapes and ten (10) standard seat widths with three more seat widths available by special order. Some CineLounger amenities include special leather covering materials, heat and massage units, power-driven multi-position mechanisms with motorized up-down head rests, touch screen housings, coordinating video projector consoles, in-arm telephone housings, illuminated aisle lights, slide-out snack trays, champagne consoles and more. At EH Expo this year, the firm will also show its improved ìair-rideî CineBarStool, a quarter-size replica of their award-winning CineLounger Classic, for use at theatre back bars in long footprint cinemas. Now the CineBarStool has five (5) standard backs and arm detailing. With more than 250 special options, CineLoungers, now on the market for over 17 years, is the worldís oldest, most comprehensive home theatre luxury incliner, recliner and rocker collection.
