New extenders send high-definition video signals long distances without visual degradation, and fiber optics-based cables connect sources to displays using DVI or HDMI connectors.Gefen's DVI-1000 HD ensures the integrity of high-definition video even hundreds of feet from the source. The system uses a sender and receiver methodology connected by fiber optics cables that carry uncompressed, unadulterated visuals for optimum imagery on the receiving end.
