Sharp adds to its Conference Series line with the XG-P25X LCD projector, offering 4,000 ANSI Lumens brightness and native XGA resolution. The Conference Series P25 is equipped with multiple inputs and outputs, letting users deliver bright, clear presentations without worrying about the signal source. In addition, the P25 offers a full slate of remote diagnostic and projector management options through its RS-232 connection, heightening the projector's flexibility and lowering its overall cost of ownership. The Conference Series P25 is ideal for system integrators and design/build companies, as well as for custom installations in corporate boardrooms and government and higher education facilities. The P25 is the most recent Sharp innovation for the mid-range market, where Sharp pioneered the mid-priced, high-quality LCD for universities, hotels, mid-sized and large conference and corporate board rooms, houses of worship and other high-capacity environments. Optional lenses are available, including the AN-P9MX, a new 0.9:1 Manual Wide Angle lens, and the AN-P48EZ, a Long Throw Power Zoom/Focus (4.8-6.0:1) lens. The Conference Series P25 also comes equipped with Power Save Mode that allows users to reduce power consumption thus reducing fan noise and lamp wattage. The P25 features two computer inputs and one digital video interface (DVI-I) input. The unit has a variable audio output and separate composite and S-video inputs, ensuring connectivity to more than one video source, as well as HDTV and component video via one RGB input.The Conference Series P25's high image quality results from its built-in video-processing chip, the Sharp CV-IC System. The CV-IC System circuitry cleans up jagged edges minimizes image noise and implements keystone corrections, resulting in impressively crisp, clear images. The Conference Series P25's Sharp Advanced Presentation Software (S.A.P.S.) allows one or more projectors to be connected to a PC for remote diagnostics, control and stacking/video wall capability. S.A.P.S is designed to locate and self-diagnose system errors, instantly sending an alert to the control PC or forwarding error message emails to a predetermined list, expediting necessary maintenance and minimizing projector downtime. The software can also be easily configured to immediately alert on-site maintenance engineers, allowing them to service the projector before their customers become aware of service issues. S.A.P.S. lets users daisy-chain up to 250 other P25s, which reduces cabling cost and allows control and monitoring of an entire group of projectors from a single location.The Conference Series P25 is designed with Sharp's PresenterPAK feature set, including a friendly graphical user interface menu screen that is icon-based and uses common terminology rather than technical jargon. Computer connectors are color-coded to simplify setup for users when connecting cables to a PC, Mac, or Workstation. PresenterPAK has a unique set of built-in features such as a customizable start-up screen, break timer for meeting control, digital enlarge, screen freeze function and annotation capability.The Conference Series P25 was designed with native XGA (1024x768) resolution and is compatible with NTSC, PAL, SECAM and DTV/HDTV video signals. The P25's automatic and manual image-adjustment features let presenters fine-tune images to ensure the sharpest presentations.
