Runco International recently held its annual Mexican Getaway to honor its top dealers. The six-day event included seminars designed to help dealers pump up the volume in sales and set goals for the new year with new and existing products. ""The Runco Mexican Getaway is a unique experience that I'm really proud has become such an anticipated tradition for our team,"" said Sam Runco. ""The trip really stands out because all the professionals are encouraged to bring their families so we can meet the important people in each other's lives. Throughout my business career I always dreaded leaving my wife and kids behind, but on the Mexico Getaway, I get to have them around while taking care of Runco's business. It's a great feeling."" Cabo San Lucas was the destination, but it wasnít all about business. RUNCO addresses its dealers and employees much like it approaches its products: it looks at the complete package. Runco realizes that business and pleasure do mix, and it designed the weekís agenda accordingly. Everyone who came to the Runco Mexican Getaway was encouraged to bring their families. Activities included a talent show, movie night, a potato sack race on the beach, an egg toss contest, annual golf tournament, and the highly anticipated belly flop contest. Response was overwhelming from participants who swear by Runco products and family-oriented business practices. Overall, the week was a perfect opportunity to network with others involved in the Runco experience, learn about new products and strategize about how to bring those new technologies to market.
