Alcons Audio Cinema Expo Preview; Alconsí Launches Compact Ultra-Shallow Sound System

At the coming Cinema Expo convention, Alcons Audio will be present with a number of new products. The C-series of Alcons cinema sound systems will be extended with a complete system for cinema theatres up to 100 seats. Applications for the compact system include small cinema theatres, screening rooms, but also boardrooms and even home theatres. The CR1, ìcompact three-way ribbon-loaded front systemî is a passive-filtered (so amplifier-efficient) system and features the already famous depth of less than 10-inch/25cm. The high frequencies are accurately reproduced by the Alcons RBN401 pro-ribbon driver, mounted on a swivel bracket.Another novelty will be the CB181sl; A single-18-inch low-frequency system to accompany the CR1 as ìslim-sizedî subwoofer. The TS3 is a compact surround speaker, with a single 6.5-inch and optimized soft-dome tweeter. Also the other C-series cinema products will be on show, including the new ALC4st 2x 2kW Class-G controller-amplifier for dedicated driving of the Alcons loudspeaker systems and the CR2, Alconsís high-power shallow three-way front system, featuring RBN601 pro-ribbon transducer and a depth of 10-inch/25cm.For more information, please visit www.alconsaudio.com.
