Music Video Distributors and Slam Jamz are pleased to announce the home viewing release of The Impossebulls ñ Slave Education for North American distribution on DVD and CD. In 1998, Chuck D of the legendary Rapp squad Public Enemy embarked on an online journey that would spark results that no one could have guessed possible. His new PE web super-site featured the ìEnemy Boardî, a message board where people could come together and post up information and opinions. It was a small online community that would attract long time Public Enemy fans and people with forward thinking ideas. Comprised of several Midwestern rap artists who collaborate via the Internet by exchanging MP3 recordings among themselves, the Impossebulls are somewhat of a virtual rap group, and a revolutionary one at that. The formation of the Impossebulls was the result of an idea posted on Public Enemyís ìEnemy Boardî by producer Bill Tha Pharmacizt. Accomplishing what was previously an impossible task of recording from several different locations, vocals and music were exchanged via mp-3 and pro-tools systems to their fearless leader C-Doc at studio headquarters in western Pennsylvania. It established a group of artists together on the same song and most importantly brought fans together. As creative first, their story should be told in as much multimedia as possible. The Impossebulls do their own videos and consist of several associated projects. Members from various backgrounds combined to do their recording thru the Internet to 7-inch wax. Chuck D is also a member and produces a few tracks and orchestrates remixes as well. The Bulls impressed on the road, touring with PE during the Revolverlution Tour in fall 2002. This DVD contains live footage and interviews documenting their incredible story.
