Samsung Adds Three New Models To Its DVD Player Family

Samsung Electronics America, Inc., have debuted the DVD-P341 progressive scan DVD player and two new DVD-VHS Combo players, the DVD-V4600 and DVD-V4800 that also support progressive scan digital video outputs. Samsungís DVD-V4600 and DVD-V4800 Combo units offer plenty of power in a slim-line package. With two decks built into the chassis, the players support nearly any digital disc, videotape media and audio playback formats including CD, MP3, CD-R/RW, DVD, VHS formats and S-VHS playback. The player also has the ability to play back JPEG CDs and Picture CDs for on-screen viewing of digital photos. Front-panel audio-video inputs offer easy access for connecting external devices. Both the DVD-V4600 and DVD-V4800 pack everything to complete a home theater in one unit that can be operated by a single remote control. With the DVD-V4600 and the DVD-V4800ís 480p progressive scan video output and EZ View, Samsung has ensured that HDTV owners or consumers thinking of purchasing a digital TV can view pristine, flicker-free images. In addition the DVD-V4800 features a 7-in-2 Multi Card Slot that supports Memory Stick and Memory Stick Pro, MultiMedia Card, Secure Digital Card, SmartMedia Card, and Compact Flash Micro Drive as well as DVD-R for your convenience. The DVD-V4600 is currently available for an MSRP of $139.99 and the DVD-V4800 is also currently available for an MSRP of $179.99.
