At the EMX Conference 2004, Digital Matrix Corp. introduced a new thickness measurement system and a new waste treatment product, both geared to the needs of optical disc replicators. The new TM/2000 Thickness Measurement Profiler, on display at the EMX Show, is the latest model of a quality control measurement system first introduced to the industry over five years ago by Digital Matrix. The new design is easier to install and use, and it ties into a customer's existing computer. With its easier to use graphical interface and new data saving features, higher quality CD/DVD discs are possible, better satisfying the quality demands and expectations of consumers, content owners and replicators, according to Leslie Derrig, Director of Business Development, North and South America. The modified WT/1000 Waste Treatment system for optical disc replicators has been expanded to satisfy the growing and more critical treatment demands of municipalities around the globe. The footprint has been lengthened approximately 50-percent to accommodate an extra tank which provides improved system efficiency and flow-through. For the tricky and increasingly more complex high density stamper making needs, this system facilitates the highest quality disc and code compliance with the least trouble for operators, according to Derrig. While space at the show did not allow for display of the unit, it is now offered for sale in the Americas, Europe and Asia.Digital Matrix is located on the internet at www.galvanics.com.
