First Impressions Theme Theatres, Miami, Florida-based private theatre architects, designers and builders announces a new expansion of its architectural and design department to include expanded and highly advanced full animation 3-D ìin-theatreî presentations, now with audio and special effects mix. First Impressions Theme Theatres recently acquired an elaborate computer system; close in specifications to Hollywoodís film animators, to make ìtheatre moviesî for its dealer clients. The firm makes CDís or DVDís of each cinema project before construction, to see how it will look by volume, geometry, texture and finish, right down to parting curtains, fade to black and ìreal timeî on-screen movies. Modifications to the theme are easily made into this modeling tool. ìThese are clearly cutting edge architectural design and presentation skills for the private cinema marketî, added Smith.îThe Animation Department of First Impressions takes five distinctive steps in producing the new 3-D visualization for CGTI (computer generated theatre imagery) as modeling, applying materials, lighting the scene, composing the image and then rendering the scene. Once the project is modeled we have the ability to show the client many views, many scenes, from different directions and viewpoints, a distinct advantage over the single view hand drawn rendering perspective, or even our full color 3-D perspectives.
