Pioneer Digital Technologies, Inc., the leading provider of interactive program guides and video applications for multiple cable platforms, today announced that its Passport Echo DVR (Digital Video Recorder) software navigation system has received Motorolaís Horizon Program Acadia validation for dual-tuner functionality on the Motorola DCT6412 HD-DVR set-top. Passport Echo is currently deployed on multiple DVR set-tops including the Motorola DCT6208 and DCT6412. The new version of Passport Echo will provide dual-tuner functionality for the DCT6412, and can be turned on through a software download to currently deployed DCT6412 set-tops. Dual-tuner functionality provides an unrestricted viewing and recording experience.
