The Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) announced today that 24,500 custom electronics professionals converged Sept. 8-12, 2004 at the Indiana Convention Center and RCA Dome for CEDIA EXPO 2004. This yearís attendance was the largest in the eventís 15-year history. CEDIA EXPO was held September 8-12, 2004 and recorded an approximate 20 percent increase in the number of attendees. This year approximately 550 exhibitors occupied all the space within the Indiana Convention Center and RCA Dome. CEDIA EXPO is the only show that meets the specialized needs of the residential custom electronics industry. The annual event ranks as one of the nationís top exhibitions. ìAttendance at CEDIA EXPO continues to be terrific news for the custom electronics industry,î said Billilyne Keller, Executive Director of CEDIA. ìOur new attendance record this year along with the dozens of new exhibitors is testament to the surging demand for new technologies, education and information about this industry. Weíre proud to have this kind of success yet again.î The show, which was held last year in Indianapolis, will return to the Indiana Convention Center and RCA Dome in 2005 and will move to Denver in 2006. CEDIA EXPO 2005 will be held September 7-11, 2005.For more information on CEDIA, visit the associationís web site at www.cedia.org.
