Mintek Digital will launch a new line of HDTV-ready flat-panel monitors at retail this October 2004. Available in 17-inch, 23-inch and 26-inch models, the new DTV series features built-in DVD players and HDTV-ready television tuners in a single, compact unit that also includes an SD and Memory Stick card reader, and a USB port. When itís time to work on the computer, the new units can be used as a stand-alone computer monitor. Designed for use as a PC monitor, television and/or DVD player, the new product line combines Mintekís leading DVD technology with state-of-the-art LCD technology that has nearly eliminated the issue of viewing angle. The DTV series boasts the widest viewing angle available on the market today-nearly 180 degrees. Both models feature a Memory Stick reader, SD Memory Card reader and USB port, providing a variety of options for viewing digital photographs. Simply plug your camera into the USB port or insert the memory card for instant viewing.Additional features include: a built-in stereo audio amplifier with two speakers, slot load DVD, DVI input, VGA input, PC audio input, S-video and two-channel audio inputs, AV input/output, headphone jack and a multifunction remote control.
