Bose Corporation And The Good Guys Team Up With The Elf Foundation To Build ìRooms of Magic;î Charity Foundation Receives Support From Speaker Manufacturer And Retail Chain

The Elf Foundation has announce the affiliation of Bose Corporation and The Good Guys in support of the charityís mission. On August 7 and 8, 2004 Bose Corporation and the Good Guys teamed up to officially kick-off the launch of the new Bose home entertainment systems in the West Coast marketplace. Associates from Good Guys and Bose partnered to merchandise and deliver over 3,000 customer demonstrations at 71 Good Guys stores. The consumer response to the new products was very positive. ""The new Bose systems are incredible, the one-button music storage capability is Boseís simplicity at its best,"" said a Good Guys customer at the San Mateo, CA location. To kick-off the event on Saturday afternoon, Bose Corporation delivered a $10,000 donation to the Elf Foundation, the Good Guyís preferred charity. The Elf Foundation is known around the country for its work with sick children and hospitals. Elf installs entertainment theaters in pediatric wards to help children and their parents endure the treatment of serious illnesses. They create ìRooms of Magic,î which bring the magic of music, film and radio to life, utilizing the highest quality audio & video products available.
