DTS Opens Hong Kong Office; Company Appoints Director To Manage Asia-Pacific Presence

DTS (Digital Theater Systems, Inc.) announces the opening of its newest global office in Hong Kong, which will coordinate DTS's activities in the Asia-Pacific region. The company has hired Kin Chan as Director, Business Development, Greater China, to oversee operations from Hong Kong and focus on business development in the Greater China area, including China, Taiwan and Australia. DTS is headquartered in Agoura Hills, and maintains offices in Guangzhou, China; Twyford, England; Bangor, Northern Ireland; and Tokyo. Prior to joining DTS, Kin served as CEO of LECCO Technology Limited, a world-renowned leader in SQL Optimization and a leading player in the industry of Application Performance Maintenance. Before LECCO, he was CEO of a Chinese network security technology company in Hong Kong. Kin earned his MBA in International Studies from the University of South Australia. He also holds a Master of Science in Computer Data Processing, and received his Bachelor of Engineering, Diploma in Industrial Studies from the University of Ulster, Northern Ireland.
