Velodyne Wins EISA Award For European Subwoofer Of The Year 2004-2005

Velodyne Acoustics, Inc. announced that the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) has named the Digital DriveÆ DD-10 as the European Subwoofer of the Year 2004-2005. The subwoofer was recognized by the 50 leading photo, video, audio, home theatre and mobile electronics magazines from over 20 European countries for its outstanding innovation and technical excellence. The Digital Drive DD-10 is a DSP-controlled, high gain servo subwoofer. Powered by Velodyneís patented 1250-watt RMS Energy Recovery System (ERS) switching amplifier, the DD-10 is part of the first subwoofer series to incorporate Velodyneís patent pending Digital Drive room equalization system.
