The Samsung Experience Launches World-Class Lecture Series That Offers A New Take On High-Tech

Complimentary Lecture Series Kicks Off on Wednesday, December 15 at the Samsung Experience in the Time Warner Center with a Presentation by A Leading Technologist from MIT Media Lab

The Samsung Experience, New Yorkís newest high-technology landmark, is launching a lecture series to bring a fresh perspective on how technology never fails to fascinate and provoke us.The first lecture takes place on Wednesday, December 15, 7:00pm as Professor John Maeda, the Allen Professor of Media Sciences, MIT Media Lab, presents ìCreative Code: Aesthetics + Computation.î The Samsung Experience is located on the 3rd floor of The Shops at Columbus Circle in the Time Warner Center, New York. The lecture is free and open to the public. Prof. Maeda will demonstrate a new type of creative visual expression that provides clarity and simplicity to complex information and systems that include bio-informatics, financial data, environment, as well as social and human behavior. There will also be exciting live presentations by alumni of his program that will highlight his group's experiments in visualizing the human genome, veejaying and remixing of the '04 elections, and design pattern generators.
