Shuttle buses between the LVCC and Alexis Park will run every 10 minutes. The CEA High-Performance Audio division will hold a special ""Welcome to CES"" reception by invitation only on Thursday, January 6 from 7:00-9:30 p.m. in the Apollo Ballroom of the Alexis Park Hotel.At the Alexis Park, attendees also can nominate their favorite tracks for the new DEMMY Awards. The DEMMY's honor recordings that reflect the highest quality of sound engineering, incorporate natural tonal balance, great clarity of detail, and have a realistic, three-dimensional soundstage. Award categories include best CD, best LP, best high-resolution two-channel, best high-resolution multi channel, best DVD as a movie, and best DVD as a music video or concert. Nominations can be submitted at the International CES at a kiosk on the floor of the Alexis Park, online at www.CE.org/DemmyAwards, or by mailing or faxing in the onsite forms.CONNECTIONS (TM): The Digital Home Conference and Showcase, produced by Parks Associates in partnership with CEA, will host four sessions at the International CES focusing on various aspects of digital consumer entertainment.
