Often called the ""godfather"" of drum 'n' bass, LTJ Bukem has been one of the most individual and influential figures in dance music over the last decade. He led the scene in the early 1990s and later moved on to release a series of mix albums called Earth, which all had a common theme and brought together elements of acid jazz, hip hop and soul.
