Unlike simple IR-to-RF converters, the RP-1 opens the option of storing all of a system's complex commands within a central controller at the equipment rack, in addition to storing them in the remote control or both at once. The RP-1 guarantees reliable control over an A/V system because it delivers stored codes and complete macro strings to the systemís components, requiring the remote to send only a single trigger signal to its built-in RF receiver. The RP-1 also features a built-in power sensing module and a connecting block for IR emitters and blasters. All of these included capabilities, along with its streamlined design, make the RP-1 an exceptionally flexible solution that can bring RTIís industry-leading control to any home.
