NuTech Digital And D12, A 4X Platinum-Selling Group, Complete Exclusive Concert DVD Agreement

NuTech Digital, Inc. announced the execution of an exclusive production agreement with Detroit, Michigan-based rappers, D12 (pronounced 'dee-twelve). The exclusive production and distribution agreement will result in D12's premier concert DVD and will be ready for distribution for the important Holiday shopping season. The concert DVD will be produced in Hi-Definition, utilizing state-of-the-art audio and video technology, which will best capture D12's hard-hitting lyrics and funk-infused beats. The production shoot is scheduled for August 23, 2005 at the House of Blues in Chicago, Illinois. D12 is a quintet of Detroit-based rappers which includes, Bizarre, Swift, Kon Artis, Proof, and Kuniva. This group of childhood friends is widely known for their sharp lyrical content and their funky beats. Their 2001 debut album, ""Devil's Night,"" which has sold over four million copies worldwide, included two singles that peaked at #2 or higher on the Billboard Hot Rap Singles chart. One of them, ""Purple Pills,"" also peaked at number three on the USA Top 200 Soundscan Singles Sales chart. Their sophomore album, ""D-12 World,"" came three years later and debuted at number one on the Hot 200 Albums chart, selling 544,000 copies in its first week alone, and featured the chart topping hit singles ""My Band"" and ""How Come."" Commenting on the agreement, NuTech Digital CEO Lee Kasper stated, ""In reaching this agreement with D12, not only will the group and NuTech Digital benefit financially by releasing this concert DVD for the holiday shopping season, but it represents a unique opportunity for us to further network with the individual members, as they are all very active in various activities in the music industry.
