In "Proud Mary, " Mary (Henson) is a hit woman working for an organized crime family in Boston, whose life is completely turned around when she meets a young boy whose path she crosses during a professional hit. (Gary Reber)

Special features include the featurettes "Mary's World" (HD 05:34), "The Beginning Of The End" (HD 05:46), and "If Looks Could Kill" (HD 03:57); upfront previews; and a Movies Anywhere digital copy.

The 2.39:1 1080p AVC picture, reviewed on a Sony Bravia Z9D 4K Ultra HD HDR display, upconverted to 2160p with greater resolution and luminance, was photographed digitally in Panavision® using the Sony CineAlta PMW-F55 and Sony A7S II camera systems and sourced from a 4K master Digital Intermediate format. The picture is sharp throughout with fine resolution exhibited in facial features, skin pores, hair, clothing, and object texture. Close-ups are especially finely detailed. The color palette is perfectly natural with well-balanced saturation. Fleshtones are naturally rendered. Contrast is well balanced with deep blacks and revealing shadow delineation. Production design lighting provides effective highlights. Overall, this is a satisfying picture photographed on location in Boston. (Gary Reber)

The DTS-HD Master Audio™ 5.1-channel soundtrack features an active music score of varied styles, though, mostly orchestral. The music occupies a wide and deep soundstage that aggressively extends to the surrounds. Atmospherics are authentically realistic. Sound effects, such as pistol gunfire and machine gunfire, are often powerful and directionalized and are boosted with deep bass energy. Dialogue is consistently intelligible with good spatial integration throughout. This is a dynamic-sounding soundtrack with well-articulated atmospherics, Foley and sound effects, all delivered with good fidelity. (Gary Reber)
