From fully automated homes to high-end home theaters, our members are designing and installing custom electronics systems that are easy to use and are intended to make life more enjoyable,"" said Billilynne Keller, Executive Director of CEDIA. Keller attests, ""The house demonstrates to the press and others how todayís cutting-edge technologies are being incorporated in to homes to make peoplesí busy lives less complicated. It really is the ultimate demonstration of home automation. Keller further added the home is also a tool that can be taken to trade shows that focus on other industries. ""By taking the home on the road, we are able to show builders, architects, interior designers, and others how CEDIA members can simplify their jobs and make their lives easier."" The home was unveiled at CEDIA EXPO í98 in New Orleans last September and has since traveled to various key trade shows around the country and has been featured on national and regional television programs.
