Sennheiser Electronic Debuts First Headphone Product With SRS Labs' Technology

SRS Labs, Inc. recently announced the first implementation of their headphone technology with the introduction of the Sennheiser RS 60. These wireless headphones debuted August 28, 1999 at the Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA), the consumer electronics trade fair in Berlin. A market leader in headphone products and new licensee of SRS Labs, Sennheiser electronic is one of the largest suppliers of headphones worldwide. Their new model RS 60 will begin shipping in Germany in October and Shipments worldwide will begin in January 2000. The RS 60 is a wireless headphone system with open, SRS Headphone technology and provides a deep, fully immersive surround sound experience. The RS 60 delivers transparent, detailed sound and can receive transmissions through walls/ceilings, indoors and out within a 100m range. The headphones are conveniently fitted onto the transmitter allowing the battery to charge when not in use. They offer multi-operation use with three selected transmitting channels and an audio filter to eliminate interference.
