Miller & Kreisel Professional Debuts Latest MPS Products At AES, New York
Miller & Kreisel is making several new product introductions at the AES Show this year. Among the new products are the MPS-1610P Powered Main Monitor, the MPS-2525P Powered Tripoleô Surround Monitor, the MPS-5420 Backfireô Subwoofer and the LFE-5 Bass-Management Controller. At AES, each new product will be part of a live demonstration showcasing 6.1-channel Dolby EX, where listeners will be able to experience the productsí power and performance. All M&K Pro Systems are designed for mixing any sound format, from Mono to 7.1 and beyond, for projects including audio recording, mastering, post-production, and mixing in the near, mid, and far field. The MPS-1610P Powered Main Speaker is a bi-amplified, magnetically shielded, near/mid-field monitor that possesses a transparent sound quality, with wider dynamic range and higher output than its passive version. The MPS-2525P is a tri-amplified, self-powered Tripole Surround loudspeaker. This unit enables studios to have a fully powered monitoring system with M&Kís proprietary Tripole technology. The MPS-5420 Backfire Subwoofer is a 400-Watt amplified subwoofer that utilizes M&Kís Backfire design which allows it to be placed directly against a wall for maximum coupling and loading while providing flat frequency response. The LFE-5 Bass-Management Controller features five precision 80Hz high-pass filters with a matching 80Hz low-pass filter to route low frequency information to one or more subwoofers.
