Labels Adopting Liquid Audio

Liquid Audio Inc., a leading provider of Internet software and services for online music delivery, said the music industry is ""rapidly"" adopting its distribution solution, as evidenced by several groundbreaking deals during the past week. Liquid Audio has added new releases from Atlantic, Arista, Bad Boy, Beyond, Capitol, DreamWorks, Elektra, Hollywood, MCA, Polydor/Universal, RCA, Reprise, Universal, Virgin, Wind-Up, Windham Hill and Warner Bros. Records to its major-label distribution content. The company has entered into a partnership with The Hollywood Reporter. Liquid Audio has also expanded the reach of its distribution network, with Yahoo!, BestBuy, BarnesandNoble.com, CDNow, Coalition of Independent Music Stores, Handleman, Musicland, NationalRecordMart, Transworld and Wherehouse joining Amazon, J&R, Tower Records and 200 other retail music sites on the Liquid Music Network.
