Chisholm Update

At Comdex Chisholm announced a new direction for Chisholm as a company. Chisholm will no longer manufacture and market projector products. The company is closing out its remaining inventory and moving into a new venture. Chisholm will remain as a corporate entity, and will continue to provide service on its installed base of products.However, the company will spin off two new divisions. One is called AIS. AIS will provide consulting services pertaining to channel distribution. The other division will be called ProjectorCentral.ProjectorCentral is an Internet-based community of buyers and sellers of projectors. On this site will be a ìBuyersí Research Centerî that will feature a database of projector products, reviews written by both ourselves and users, and a master dealer locator that enables users to find dealers. The site will also feature a ìMarketplaceî that enables buyers to solicit bids online from dealers. Bid activity will not be made public on the site, and dealers will be able to bid without their bids being disclosed to anyone other than the buyer.We will also feature a manufacturerís profile section. In this section, manufacturers will be able to promote, if they so choose, any specials, close-outs, contests, or whatever. It is a good place for manufacturers to make statements directly to the online buying community.The site is not yet operational, but is open for pre-registration.
