The introduction of the PDP-501MC marks Pioneerís entrance into the DTV market. Performance is the cornerstone of the PDP-501MC. With a maximum resolution of 1280 x 768 (XGA) and a combines total of over 980,000 pixels, the PDP-501MC delivers unsurpassed video quality for both video and computer images. This clearly makes for the highest resolution plasma display in the world. For convenience, the PDP-501MC features Pioneerís Format converter, which changes standard NTSC signals to a 768 progressive signal.
