Valenti Sees Quota Systems Becoming Obsolte In Three To Five Years

Motion Picture Association of Amrica (MPAA) chairman Jack Valenti predicts that in three to five years, ""all quota systems will be obsolete"" due to the explosion of the Internet and offshoot delivery systems. ""How can you regulate something whose shape and form is not fully discernible?"" Valenti mused during his annual visit to the America Film Festival in Deauville, France in early September.
