Cinepro Introduces: Three New Mark II Multichannel Amplifiers At CES 99
Cinepro introduced a new line of multichannel power amplifiers at the International Consumer Electronics Show held January 9-10, 1999, in Las Vegas, Nevada. ""CES 99 gives us an opportunity to have our dealer network take a first-hand look at the many upgrades we have made to our existing line-up of multichannel amps - with their increased power and musicality - is sure to raise the bar even higher for home theatre amplifier performance,"" said Eric Abraham, President of Cinepro Professional. The new Mark II amplifiers are the Cinepro 2k5II, 3k6II, and 3k6SEII. Upgrades include: - Larger power supply capacitance, larger transformers, and more output devices for greater power (2k5II) increases to 250 wpc/8 ohms x 5 channels. 3k6II increases to 375 wpc/8 ohms x 6 channels. The 3k6SEII increases to a precedent-setting 425 wpc/8 ohms x 6 channels). - Newly designed input and output boards, featuring independently regulated and isolated gain stages for enhanced transparency. - New triple-mono power supplies, one for each 2-channel board, for improved bottom-end punch and inter-channel separation. - New ""Whisper Cool"" DC servo cooling system, for virtually silent and stable thermal characteristics.
