The solution is Pioneer Electronicsí introduction of the companyís first portable DVD player. With the largest active-matrix LCD screen in its category (7-inch), and a 16:9 (1.78:1) aspect ratio, the PDV-LC10 presents many of the feature advantages in a thin, streamlined, package that a standard DVD player offers. A headphone jack and internal stereo speakers allow for private or group use. On the audio side, the PDV-LC10 boasts a 96kHz 24-bit digital-to-analog converter for playback of digital audio discs and a DTS compatible digital output for playback of DTS encoded DVDs. A nickel-hydride battery that comes standard with the PDV-LC10 lasts for 3 * hours (longest battery life of any portable DVD player).
