The new Mark Levinson N383 Integrated Amplifier will be available from authorized Mark Levinson dealers and distributors beginning October 1999. Priced for US retail at $5,995, the N383, is the first integrated amplifier in the 27-year history of the brand. Following closely after the introduction of the first Mark Levinson Reference Preamplifier, the N383 highlights Madrigalís capacity to use Reference technologies to deliver high value across a range of price points. Never before have we delivered such a range of technology in a single package."" The N383 employs numerous topologies and features found in other Mark Levinson components. Among them are dual-mono power supplies, balanced gain stages, extensive protection circuitry, a software-based operating system with inter-component communication and remote control. It is rated at 100 watts/channel at 8 ohms and 200 watts/channel at 4 ohms. (continuous, both channels driven).
