Warner Bros. Online & Brilliant Digital Entertainment To Launch Net's First 3D Animation Channel

Warner Bros. Online, a division of Time Warner Entertainment Company (NYSE: TWX), and Brilliant Digital Entertainment (Amex: BDE), a pioneering Internet content and tools developer, announced at Fall Internet World the formation of a co-production and Internet distribution relationship to launch a co-branded 3-D animation channel, the ""Multipath Movie Channel,"" on Time Warner's Entertaindom Web site (http://www.Entertaindom.com). The new channel will be supported by an extensive online and offline marketing campaign by Entertaindom and will feature at least six different Multipath Movie series produced by Brilliant Digital including ""Superman: The Menace Of Metallo"" (featuring DC Comics' trademarked characters), other Brilliant Digital productions and additional branded titles to be determined by Warner Bros. The Multipath Movie Channel is slated to launch during the fourth quarter of 1999, coinciding with the launch of Entertaindom. The companies have also established advertising, ancillary product and e-commerce revenue sharing relationships. Warner Bros. Online also secured an option to order up to 30 additional Webisodes per series during the second year of each series. Additionally, the companies agreed to cooperate with each other in maximizing the revenue opportunity from developing and selling 3-D animated advertisements or product placements within Multipath Movie Channel content.
