Digital HDTV Demonstrations Showcase HDTV Receiver, Video Projection Monitors, Integrated HDTVs Zenith Electronics Corporation showcased its entire family of digital/high definition products at CEDIA Expo í99, September 24-26 ñ including the popular PRO900X video projector, the IQADTV1W digital HDTV receiver/decoder and two rear-projection HDTV sets (the IQB64W10W and the IQB56W10W). The IQADTV1W receiver/decoder ñ recognized as the industry reference standard ñ delivers stunning images on high-resolution displays such as the PRO900X. Designed to receive all 18 ATSC (Advanced Television Systems Committee) DTV standard scanning formats, it provides the highest level of HDTV resolution (1920x1080) through an RGB output that drives the PRO900X or other high-resolution display. The IQADTV1W features an ATSC VSB (vestigial sideband) digital tuner and demodulator, a unique video processor that converts DTV input signals to 1920x1080 display capability, and VGA computer input for accepting computer graphics. DolbyÆ Digital audio and digital jacks support theater-like sound. Zenithís PRO900X high-definition projector, the consumer electronics industryís first ""HDTV-ready"" product, is ideal for commercial and high-end home theater applications. Combined with the IQADTV1W receiver/decoder, the PRO900X becomes a full HDTV package, delivering dramatic HDTV images up to 200 inches diagonally. Both widescreen HDTV receivers, the 64W and the 56W, are integrated HDTV sets that incorporate an all format ATSC DTV receiver and a high-performance NTSC analog tuner. Both offer digital convergence, Guide Plus+ program guide, and intuitive on-screen menu system, ATSC/NTSC PIP (Picture-In-Picture), a universal remote control, parental control and the EZ feature package including EZ volume limiter. The 64W features a 3D digital comb filter, while the 56W features a three-line digital comb filter and scan velocity modulation. The 64W and 56W feature extensive jack panels with 23AV jacks (including Component Video, Multiple S-Video, 15-pin BGA/HD-DBS input) and concealed front jacks.
