The BIGGEST Short Film Festival Ever! BIG SHORTS Los Angeles!
BIG Shorts is a rare opportunity to experience a unique program of experimental short films made specifically for the giant screen (giant screen = 15perforation 70mm). The program lasts approximately 1 hour and includes such films as ""MORE"" (1998 Academy AwardÆ Nominee for Best Animated Short), ""Castrate Boar Pigs For Better Sales"" (Super-8 blown up to 15perf 70mm!), ""Primiti Too Taa"" (Animated ""sound poem""), ""Fire"" (specially performed miniature pyrotechnics set to music), and much, much more! Big Shorts is a presentation of The Splinter Group, a small body of individuals dedicated to supporting giant screen experimental filmmaking.
