Marantz America has announced the introduction of its AV-9000 Dolby Digital/DTS/THX Preamp/Processor, the company's new top of the line home theatre control center. The THX Ultra-certified AV-9000 is a no-compromise perfectionist audio/video component in every respect, and sets a new standard in home theater preamp/processor performance and flexibility. The THX Ultra-certified AV-9000 offers both Dolby Digital and DTS decoding capability along with a variety of additional surround modes including enhanced stereo from two-channel discs, for total surround sound versatility.
