Happy ""Haunted"" Halloween

""House On Haunted Hill"" will be packed with patrons during what promises to be an otherwise forgettable weekend at the boxoffice. The Warner Bros. release is generating genuine excitement in a marketplace that has been primed for a good scare by the anticipation of the annual rites of Halloween coming on Sunday. The all-important youth sector, in fact, can't wait to get a peek at ""Haunted Hill,"" so expect a runaway first-place finish. Geoffrey Rush and Famke Janssen star in the remake of the 1958 William Castle thriller about a former insane asylum possessed by the spirits of those who suffered through horrible acts of violence that took place within its walls.
