DirecTV Japan Signs Multiyear Pay-Per-View Agreement For Slate Of DreamWorks Features
DirecTV JAPAN has entered into a multiyear pay-per-view agreement with DreamWorks SKG, providing the digital satellite platform with pay-per-view rights for a slate of current and upcoming DreamWorks feature films, it was announced today by Larry D. Hunter, Chairman and President of DirecTV Japan Management, Inc. and Hal Richardson, Head of International Television, DreamWorks International Distribution, LLC. ""DreamWorks has already introduced high quality movies to satellite broadcasters. Through this agreement, DirecTV can continue providing the studio's latest top-notch titles to Japanese consumers,"" said Mr. Hunter. ""DirecTV Japan is proud to be able to add DreamWorks' outstanding films to our pay-per-view lineup. We believe the many diverse feature films from DreamWorks will be very popular with our subscribers.""
