Toshiba recently began shipping its first-ever plasma display panel. The 42-inch 1.78:1 (16:9) widescreen Model PD42W1U utilizes todayís most advanced flat-panel plasma technology to offer the highest contrast ratio (550:1) of any plasma display in the industry.
