Mitsubishi Debuts DBS DirecTV Receivers
Mitsubishi Digital Consumer Electronics (MDEA) and DirecTV Inc. are partnering on two new direct broadcast satellite (DBS) receivers for Mitsubishiís 2000 product line. MDEA will be selling a high-definition DBS receiver, model SR-HD500, and a standard-definition (SD) DBS receiver, model SR-SD500. The standard-definition receiver will feature a RF remote that can be used anywhere in the house. An enhanced interactive program guide and a Dual Low Noise Blocker will also be featured for viewing different channels in different rooms simultaneously.
