Golmund Announces PC-Theatre Processor Goldmund announces the introduction to the market of the home theater digital processor with the Goldmund Chiasma.

Based on a Pentium II computer architecture, the Goldmund Chiasma provides multichannel decoding using proprietary ""Super AC-3"" 32 bits floating-point DSP software. Additional software includes Dolby ProLogic and Dolby Digtial. DTSÆ Digital Surround will also become available soon. In addition to multichannel decoding, the Goldmund Chiasma fully controls the Goldmund home theater system, automatically recording any manual adjustment of audio and video parameters for each different source played on the system, and automatically restoring these parameters when the same source is played again. A Digital Audio Equalizer with full phase and amplitude adjustability is also part of the standard software. Linked to Internet, the machine is designed to upgrade automatically its software from the Goldmund website and provides large screen Internet browsing. Computer games and computer programs may also be displayed on the Home Theatre screen, building-up the Goldmund PC-Theater concept. Associated with Goldmund electronics and the Full Epilogue Speaker system, the Chiasma, says the company, brings the most advanced (and future-oriented) home theatre solution to movie and sound enthusiasts.
