DVD Menu Survey

The DVD consumer's chance to tell the DVD makers how they want their discs to work. Navigating around DVD-Videos and DVD menus is a hit and miss affair, with different movie companies and authoring houses making quite different uses of DVD's menu and navigation structures. To help the industry work out what buttons should do what and how the menu structure could be best handled, One to One has started on a series of industry reviews and surveys which are being completed by the major authoring and production organizations in the DVD industry. To ensure that the authoring world and the movie houses understand what the real world want their discs to do, One to One has created a similar on-line survey for consumers to complete, to compare what the industry thinks users want to what they, themselves are saying. The full results of both surveys, and comments from the industry, will be put on One to One On-line in January. One to One On-line survey: www.prostudio.com/oto/survey/index.html
