Accusonic Introduces New 10-Channel Amplifier

Accusonic has introduced the new MDB700 modular 10-channel amplifier. With more channels and higher power than competing multi-channel amplifiers, the MDB700 is uniquely equipped to integrate the demands of whole house amplification with audio and home theatre use. Each channel delivers 70 watts at 8 ohms, and channels are easily bridged in pairs via convenient external switch, for up to 5 channels at 220 watts and power. Individual power supplies and toroidal transformers for each pair of channels minimize cross channel interference. The MDB700 is ideally suited for zone operation using multiple sources. A 12 volt DC input enables easy interface with X10 or IR components. Equipped for optional signal activation, the MDB700 automatically revert to standby mode for ten minutes of no signal. Features include individual channel gain control, intermittent and continuous short circuit safety protection, and IEC cord. 1/8"" control jacks facilitate connection of additional amplifiers, and provide single point system control. The ten buffered signal output enable daisy-chaining without signal degradation. Internal heat sinks and motherboard construction give a streamlined profile that is compact and easy to handle. With power to drive even the most demanding speakers - and with the sound quality and quick transient response required by discriminating audiophiles and home theatre enthusiasts - the MD700 satisfies even the most complex system amplification, at the level of quality and reliability expected of professional equipment.
