The prototype will integrate ShiftKey's Syndication System software, including ShiftKey Syndicator and SiClone Subscriber, to provide content publishing and subscribing. The demo will highlight content pre-positioning utilizing broadband content packages from recognized content sources, such as Artinsider.com; GetMusic; Reuters; and famous television cartoon artist, Bob Clampett. Content can be pre-positioned on the home server or at other points in the network to eliminate the bandwidth constraints of delivering broadband to consumers.ShiftKey has also developed a new consumer user interface on the subscriber software for the demo.
