A trailer of ""The Matrix"" is making the rounds at Golden Village multiplexes in Singapore. It features fuzzy images in bleached colors and has scratchy sound. The trailer is what Singapore's largest cinema chain has made to look like a counterfeit video compact disc, so as to remind audiences of the inferior quality of pirated material. It is part of efforts to thwart the widespread practices of film, video, and computer software piracy throughout Asia.
