Home Systems Plus (HSP), one of North America's leading suppliers of integrated home electronics solutions will formerly announce at CES 2000 in Las Vegas that the Aegis System has significantly expanded its ability to integrate with other systems.The Aegis System provides the industry's most fully integrated solution for home control. Aegis Home Management System (HMS) fully integrates the control of lighting, heating, telephone, computer, security, and other systems. Each of these systems uses Aegis modules such as Aegis light switches, Aegis thermostats and the Aegis security panel. The addition of the Aegis Audio/Video Management System (AVMS) later in 2000will add Whole House Audio A/V control, Intercom, and Infrared distribution to the capabilities of the Aegis HMS thus providing the industry's most integrated solution.The latest Aegis Home Management System has been enhanced with the following features:- An expanded Aegis-Link RS-232 protocol which will support the coming Aegis Audio Video Management System- The ability to use two Aegis-Link ports simultaneously. This allows the Aegis to simultaneously be used with the AVMS and Aegis PC software, or third party Voice recognition software.
