Weíre told that this player IS NOT an OEM unit with a few tweaks, but has been (read with a British accent) ""properly engineered from the ground up to provide enthusiast-level performance."" Reviewers are reporting that normal CDs, upsampled through dCS components, can deliver results approaching that of the new SACD and DVD-Audio formats.
